The French Dinky Renault TN4H Autobus Parisien Production ceased with the outbreak of World War 2 and therefore, there was no advertising in catalogues nor in Meccano Magazine. The 111mm long model costs fr. 9,00. Between 1940 and 1949, all models produced had Zamak, metal wheels. Hubs and rubber tyres were restored in 1950, with the price rising to fr. 155. The Renault autobus was withdrawn in 1952 and replaced by the Panhard-Somau (24D).

The French Dinky Lyonns Autobus In 1965, French Dinky Toys launched the Berliet PCM Autobus Urbains (Lyonns) 889U. However, it wasn't until 1966 that the model featured in the catalogue. The 224 mm (about 8.82 in) bus cost fr. 27.50 (new francs). In the red and cream livery of the city of Lyon, the clear plastic windows surround fawn passenger seating and a driver’s cab, with a steering wheel. The folding doors open when the suspension is pushed downward. The model compliments the almost identical green and cream of the Autobus Parisien 889. The Tekno Exhibition Bus The first version had a yellow roof. The price was No.851 for DKK 17,25; No.852 for DKK 5,75 each and No.853 for DKK 5,75 each. The cast lettering on the base read 'MERCEDES - Tekno DENMARK - MADE FOR BOISMANU'

It was possible to buy each – No. 852 and the No. 853 – in a separate box, but also together in one in a box with No. 851 as ‘arial train’.

Originally 75,000 were to be made, but only 40,000 were purchased by 'Bois Manufacture'. That is why Tekno (Dk) has also included them in their catalog and put them on the regular market. The body is cast in one piece and has engravings all around. The truck is 84 mm long and the whole train is 350 mm long.

That’s strange because Tekno – Denmark had also several versions of Danish City - & Regional- & DSB- Bus (Scania CR76 coach bus) denoted with their No. 851.
