Details of French Dinky 889 Paris Autobus
The French Dinky Paris Autobus. Launched in 1965, the Berliet PCM L’Autobus Parisien first appeared in the 1966 Dinky catalogue. The 224mm (about 8.82 in) long bus cost fr. 27.50 (new francs). In the green and cream livery of the Paris bus network, the interior of the model has brown seating, a driver’s seat and wheel, transparent plastic windows and automatic open doors. The model has plastic hubs and ribbed black tyres. The final appearance of the model was in the 1970 catalogue and was withdrawn in 1971. The original price was fr. 27.50 . It was available in green & white finish. Released as French Dinky 889 in 1965 withdrawn as French Dinky 889 in 1971.
