Production ceased with the outbreak of World War 2 and therefore, there was no advertising in catalogues nor in Meccano Magazine. The 111mm long model costs fr. 9,00. Between 1940 and 1949, all models produced had Zamak, metal wheels. Hubs and rubber tyres were restored in 1950, with the price rising to fr. 155. The Renault autobus was withdrawn in 1952 and replaced by the Panhard-Somau (24D).
The original price was 9 fr. . It was available in green & cream finish. Released as French Dinky 29D in 1939 withdrawn as French Dinky 29D in 1952.
