The Tekno Exhibition Bus. The first version had a yellow roof. The price was No.851 for DKK 17,25; No.852 for DKK 5,75 each and No.853 for DKK 5,75 each. The cast lettering on the base read 'MERCEDES - Tekno DENMARK - MADE FOR BOISMANU'

It was possible to buy each – No. 852 and the No. 853 – in a separate box, but also together in one in a box with No. 851 as ‘arial train’.

Originally 75,000 were to be made, but only 40,000 were purchased by 'Bois Manufacture'. That is why Tekno (Dk) has also included them in their catalog and put them on the regular market. The body is cast in one piece and has engravings all around. The truck is 84 mm long and the whole train is 350 mm long.

That’s strange because Tekno – Denmark had also several versions of Danish City - & Regional- & DSB- Bus (Scania CR76 coach bus) denoted with their No. 851.

This arial train could in real life carry 70 people. Expo’58 used not only Mercedes arial trains but also trains made by Volkswagen. It was available in grey & blue finish at 1:56 scale. Released as Tekno 852 & 853 in 1958 withdrawn as Tekno 852 & 853 in 1960.
