Details of Dinky 40j Austin Somerset Saloon
The Dinky Austin Somerset Saloon. introduced and renumbered from 40j in 1953 and withdrawn in 1960. Shown in the June 1954 Meccano magazine. Two tone colour schemes introduced in August 1956 and illustrated in that months Meccano Magazine. Advertised in the September 1956 issue of Meccano Magazine for 2/6. It was available in red, blue, grey finish at 1:46 scale. Released as Dinky 40j in 1953 withdrawn as Dinky 40j in 1960.
