Details of Dinky 112 Austin Healey Sprite
The Dinky Austin Healey Sprite.
A separate version was made in South Africa in turquoise or lilac.
Illustrated on the back cover of the November 1961 Meccano Magazine. The South African box may have a description in Africaans and will also say "Printed in South Africa" and "Sole Distributors: Arthur E. Harris (Pty) Ltd". The original price was 4/- . It was available in red, blue finish at 1:44 scale. Released as Dinky 112 in 1961 withdrawn as Dinky 112 in 1965.
