The Dinky Dublo Austin Lorry. one of the first Dinky Dublo models introduced in December 1957 and illustrated on the back of that months Meccano Magazine along with number 065 and 066.

Also advertised in the June 1959 Meccano Magazine for the same price.

Based on the K4 Loadstar lorry, the pea green drop-side model had three different types of tyres fitted over its lifetime. The Austin truck, was withdrawn in 1962.

Built in 1950, the actual Austin K4 Loadstar truck, was the company’s first post-war lorry. The 3,995cc, 125bhp vehicle came in two formats, the drop-side and the flat bed.

The original price was 1/6 . It was available in green finish at 00 scale. Released as Dinky Dublo 064 in 1957 withdrawn as Dinky Dublo 064 in 1962.
