Details of Dinky 971 Coles Mobile Crane
The Dinky Coles Mobile Crane.
Renumbered from 571 in March 1954. In June 1955 the price was 10/6, December of that year in rose to 10/9 and in April 1957 it rose again to 11/6. In December 1957 the price was 11/6. The crane was advertised in the June 1958 issue of Meccano Magazine at that price. In May 1959 the price increased again to 11/-, and in May 1961 to 12/-, then a year later in May 1962 to 13/-.
The last catalogue appearance in August 1965. The Crane remained unchanged throughout life with no plastic parts. The original price was 10/6 . It was available in yellow & black finish. Released as Dinky 971 in 1954 withdrawn as Dinky 971 in 1965.
