Details of Dinky 280 Midland Mobile Bank
The Dinky Midland Mobile Bank.
Midland Bank had (at least between 1978 and 1990 two mobile branch vehicles, which look a little like this DT model.
And they had bought once also 3 (older) Leyland buses for the same money shops.
On older pictures of the buses you can see the homely curtains so it wasn’t an idea of DT/Meccano to add them to this model.
It was available in white & silver finish. Released as Dinky 280 in 1966 withdrawn as Dinky 280 in 1969.
