Dinky 960 Lorry Mounted Cement Mixer
The Dinky Lorry Mounted Cement Mixer Based on an Albion Chieftain chassis. When in motion the mixer body rotates and cad also be tipped to discharge it's load. Released in August 1960 in a blue striped box retailing at 8/9, Advertised inside the front cover of the July 1961 Meccano Magazine for 9/6. This model was in production until 1968 when it made its last catalogue appearance, priced at 10/9. The box shown below, has a pictorial scene occupying two panels with end flaps, it was the last version produced, and is perhaps the scarcest of all boxes.
