The Dinky Leyland Eight-Wheel Test Chassis. There were several different markings on the bottom of chassis, cab, and blocks. Also, there are several different drive mechanisms. The first models had shafts (in red) to both rear axles, but late models had only connection (in black) to the first rear axle. The shafts rotate when the model is moving. The chassis back may have also been part of the No.925 Leyland Dump Tipper. It was available in red & silver finish. Released as Dinky 936 in 1964 withdrawn as Dinky 936 in 1969.
