Details of Dinky 113 MGB
The Dinky MGB. Released October 1962 with a UK price of 5/9. Price increased to 6/- in January 1966, but price reduced to 5/11 in 1968 when the model made its last appearance in the 1968 catalogue. This was the first Dinky Toy with opening doors. Supplied with a plastic driver. The South African version was available in red or blue. The South African box may have a description in Africaans and will also say "Printed in South Africa" and "Sole Distributors: Arthur E. Harris (Pty) Ltd". The original price was 5/9 . It was available in cream, blue, red,chrome finish at 1:45 scale. Released as Dinky 113 in 1962 withdrawn as Dinky 113 in 1969.
