The Dinky Armoured Car. Released November 1954, UK price 3/7, in April 1956 the price went down to 3/3, and again in April 1958 down to 2/11. Then in May 1959 down to 2/10. Shown on the February 1961 Dinky price list for 3/3. May 1961 it was still 3/3 but in May 1962 it went up to 3/4, and again in January 1963 up to 3/5. Then in January 1964 to 3/11, and July 1966 up to 4/-, 1968 to 4/6, May 1969 5/3, and May 1970, the last year it appeared in a catalogue, the price had risen to 5/11 or 29.5p. With the Daimler Armoured Car in continuous production for 16 years, it joined the ranks of only a few Dinky Toys in production for such a long period of time. The 1965-66 versions had the rubber tires on spun plastic wheels, and the 670 number stamped on the black plate. The original price was 3/7 . It was available in olive drab finish at 1:50 scale. Released as Dinky 670 in 1954 withdrawn as Dinky 670 in 1970.
