Details of Dinky 194 Bentley S2 Coupe
The Dinky Bentley S2 Coupe. Released March 1961 and advertised on the back of that months Meccano Magazine, the UK price was 6/3. In May 1962 this increased to 6/8, and January 1964 it increased again to 6/11. In July 1966, the last year of its production the price was 7/-. This car had "fingertip steering". A scarce variation has red seats, and another issue also scarce was in bronze, ivory seats and dark blue hood. The model was illustrated on the back cover of the September 1961 Meccano Magazine. The South African version was cream or lime green. The original price was 6/3 . It was available in light grey, bronze, cream, lime green finish. Released as Dinky 194 in 1961 withdrawn as Dinky 194 in 1967.
