Details of Dinky 736 Sea King Helicopter
The Dinky Sea King Helicopter .
The model had an opening left side (to put in a battery so the propeller can turn around), and a move able hook, plus white coloured space capsule with an opening door and yellow interior.
This version of the real [1:1] helicopter belongs to the German national marine. The markings “89+50” shows that it is stationed at ‘MFG-5 Bundesmarine Kiel-Holtenau’ (NFG = Marine Flieger Geschwader = Marine Air Squadron No. 5 in Kiel-H.) and they flew since 1970 with this type.
A (US-)space capsule – with two astronauts inside – from the 70's is a part of this model although Germany had no space program. The helicopter could pick up with a hook.
It was available in grey & red finish at 1:138 scale. Released as Dinky 736 in 1973 withdrawn as Dinky 736 in 1978.
