The Nicky Volkswagen Police Car. Copy of Dinky No. 144 VW 1500. Known to exist in Red exterior with white doors & roof. LHD only. fitted with Red police beacon with alloy base. Opening front boot and plastic wheels with silver hub caps and black base plate. Interesting to note that base plate is stamped, "S. Kumar & Co.", however, all known examples are in Atamco Co. boxes. Also of note is that this model (along with a photo) is shown in the official Nicky catalog as No. 050, although the Nicky No. 050 box shows only the Jaguar 3.4 Litre Mark II Police version. It was available in red & white finish.
