The Dinky Motorway Police Car. based on a Jaguar 3.4 litre. Introduced in April 1962 with 2 officers, aerial, blue light and 'fingertip steering'. Illustrated on the back cover of the April 1962 Meccano Magazine. The original price was 5/6 . It was available in white finish at 1:43 scale. Released as Dinky 269 in 1962 withdrawn as Dinky 269 in 1966.
