The Dinky Bedford Articulated Lorry Released in red/black and yellow/black in April 1948 at a price of 7/6. The red version was deleted by the beginning of 1949. Sales number changed to 921 in July 1953, and then it was "down-graded" to Dinky Toys in 1955 and re-numbered 409. Windows were introduced in 1960 and its last catalogue appearance was in 1960. The model was initially sold in a plain utility box, which was replaced in 1949 with a green covered box, and then a blue covered box in 1950, and then when renumbered 921 it was given the familiar blue striped box. The Dinky Big Bedford Lorry Released October 1952 with a price of 6/10. Renumbered 922 in January 1954 and again in June 1955 to 408, the model last appeared in the July 1963 catalogue priced at 5/6. Production had been discontinued by the end of the year. The model was never given plastic windows. Available in maroon and tan and blue and yellow, the latter colour scheme being less common.

Any information on a variant with military style wheels like the one pictured from Thomas Milo would be appreciated.

The Dinky Bedford 3-Ton Army Truck Released June 1954 for 4/9. In September 1954 the price rose to 5/3 then in April 1958 dropped to 4/11. In May 1958 the price was 5/3 and again in August 1958 it dropped back to 4/11, by May 1959 the price had dropped another penny to 4/10. In 1961 windows were fitted and the price was revised to 5/6 (Shown on the February 1961 Dinky price list) where it remained until the last catalogue appearance in July 1963. The box shown, without picture was used during the first year in conjunction with the pictorial box. Marked with Royal Armoured Corp. transfers front and rear. The code 2 model in bright green livery was specially made for a German trucking company "Munsterland". It had a white cover on both truck and trailer with markings "Munsterland". It was a limited edition made in 1976.
