The Dinky Medium Artillery Tractor Released in November 1957 and illustrated on the back of that months Meccano Magazine. based on a Leyland 6-wheel drive truck. fitted with a driver and two spare tyres. Its last catalogue appearance was in the August 1965 issue when the price was 9/11 it having risen in July 1963. Although in production for eight years, the Medium Artillery Tractor is not a very common model. This model was 5½" long.

There were 5 versions of this model.

The second version has an open-ended front bumper and crossed line in the cab-roof.

The gap between the end of the front bumper and body is in later versions filled in, that seems the more common variation, the open-ended bumpers are rare.
