Details of Dinky 988 ABC TV Transmitter Van
The Dinky ABC TV Transmitter Van. Introduced in May 1962 and advertised on the back cover of that months Meccano Magazine. Similar to 968. fitted with a rotating dish. Advertised for 7/6 in the July 1962 Meccano Magazine. The original price was 7/9 . It was available in blue & grey finish. Released as Dinky 988 in 1962 withdrawn as Dinky 988 in 1969.
