The Code 3 The Beatles Cadillac. Model and description from Kees D

Going through the Corgi bible, in the final chapter you can see some prototypes, models that never made it into production. Some might have been too expensive to make, for some the rights could never be obtained. It is rumoured Corgi believed that the Beatles would loose their popularity after 1964........ The Beatles Cadillac model already existed as the no. 437 Superior Ambulance. So, I made a similar model, but better than the one in the picture. I decided to make them in their 1964 outfits, because they gave their only two concerts in Holland in that year. The have the appropriate guitars and drums of those concerts. The platform on which the Beatles stand can be lowered or raised by the spare wheel. A friend made the box with secret instructions! It was finished in white at 1:55 scale.
