Details of French Dinky 811 Caravan
The French Dinky Caravan.
This model shows at both sides 2 doors. In real life this caravan had – and even that is/was exceptional – 2 doors on just the right) side. The hook is heavier as on other Dinky caravans.
The caravan brand “Hénon”, a French manufacturer from 1928 to 1970, is known for the use of verresine (a type of polyester/fiberglass) for the bodywork. Hénon was known as a pioneer in luxury, handcrafted – custom-made – extremely comfortable motorhomes of superior quality, being the first to produce monohull caravans with panoramic windows and a 25 mm polyester sandwich construction.
It was finished in cream & white at 1:43 scale. Released as French Dinky 811 in 1959 withdrawn as French Dinky 811 in 1963.
