The French Dinky Mercedes 190SL. In the 1958 catalogue, French Dinky advertised the Mercedes-Benz 190SL Coupé as to be new during the year. In the August and September editions of the French Meccano Magazine, Dinky announced its release. The 99mm long model cost 275 old Francs, about 5/9. The two-tone model had a white or silver body, and a black roof, which represented the car’s removable hardtop. The model had ribbed steel hubs and black tyres. During 1959, the model was renumbered, 526, and was deleted in 1963.

The Mercedes-Benz 190SL was a luxury 2-door roadster which was produced between May 1955 and February 1963. The car was first shown at the 1954, New York Auto Show. Built on a short monocoque R121 platform, the car had a straight-4, 1.9 litre engine, double wishbone suspension and swinging axles. The hardtop was removable and an optional feature. In 1963, the car was replaced by the 230SL.

Introduced in August 1958, the model was renumbered in 1959 and withdrawn in 1963. The original price was 275Fr. . It was available in black & white, silver finish at 1:43 scale. Released as French Dinky 24H in 1966 withdrawn as French Dinky 24H in 1968.
