Details of Corgi 439 Chevrolet Fire Chief
The Corgi Chevrolet Fire Chief. A Chevrolet Impala in Fire Department Red marked FIRE CHIEF. This car has a roof mounted light, suspension and both driver and passenger. Several variations can be found. Some do not have white doors. The car was available with a white lower body as No 482. The example here has shaped hubs but other Impalas were produced with both flat hubs and cast ones. It was finished in red at 1:50 scale. Released as Corgi 439 in 1963 withdrawn as Corgi 439 in 1965.
