Details of Corgi 439 Chevrolet Fire Chief
The Corgi Chevrolet Fire Chief. A Chevrolet Impala in Fire Department Red marked FIRE CHIEF. This car has a roof mounted light, suspension and both driver and passenger. Several variations can be found. Some do not have white doors. The car was available with a white lower body as No 482. The example here has shaped hubs but other Impalas were produced with both flat hubs and cast ones. It was available in red finish at 1:50 scale. Released as Corgi 439 in 1963 withdrawn as Corgi 439 in 1965.
