This model is – as the original – a unique version with German text and municipal markings.
Many die casts can be found with the municipal coat of arms of the ‘Sapeur Pompiers - Ville de Paris’.
It had a 2 man crew. It was possible to drive and operate the crane by turning the driver seat. This unit had 4 inclined supports.
This type of fire truck is used by several fire departments in France.
The RICHIER company was a giant construction company specialist based in several locations in France with their headquarters located I Paris. This [1:1] unit was used from 1972 over 4 years as demonstration by the Richier factory and then purchased in 1976 & until 2002 on duty by the (professional) Fire Brigade of the municipality of Kaiserslautern and unique in Germany. Vehicle license plate “KL-287” and Radio call sign: “Florian Kaiser 62”. After that period this vehicle was sent in 2002 to the Museum „Feuerpatsche Hermeskeil e.V.” Neuer Markt 2 in 54411 Hermeskeil (Germany). It was available in red, yellow, olive drab finish at 1:50 scale. Released as Solido 353 / 3102 in 1968
