The Matchbox Ford Mustang. Fitted with lever operated steering. This was one of the last models before the introduction of Superfast wheels. The version with Superfast wheels does not have the lever operated steering. Shown in the 1969 matchbox catalogue for 2/4. The original price was 2/4 . It was available in white, orange finish at 1:65 scale. Released as Matchbox 8E in 1966 withdrawn as Matchbox 8E in 1971.
