Details of Dinky 155 Ford Anglia
The Dinky Ford Anglia. Released July 1961 with a UK price of 3/9. Illustrated on the back cover of the September 1961 Meccano Magazine for 3/10. The price had increased to 3/11 by May 1962, and in its last catalogue appearance in August 1965, the price was still 3/11. A variation exists with pale blue interior. Another extremely scarce version has the exterior colour of turquoise replaced with very pale green. A white and a biege version was sold in South Africa which also had a different box illustrated with a yellow car. The South African box may have a description in Africaans and will also say "Printed in South Africa" and "Sole Distributors: Arthur E. Harris (Pty) Ltd". The original price was 3/9 . It was available in blue, cream, off-white finish at 1:48 scale. Released as Dinky 155 in 1961 withdrawn as Dinky 155 in 1966.
