The Dinky Porsche 356A Coupe. Released September 1958 at a price of 2/11 Advertised in the September 1958 Meccano Magazine they wrote: “the distinctive styling … is faithfully reproduced in this well-detailed miniature …”. The price dropped to 2/10 in 1959 but increased to 3/- in 1961, and to 3/1 in 1962. Price was back to 2/11 in 1964 where it remained until the model was deleted from production in 1965, it last appeared in the August 1965 price list. The model depicted is a rare variation. Normally the blue version had cream/beige coloured wheels. This model has the mid blue wheels that were normally attached to the cream version. The original price was 2/11 . It was available in blue, cream, red, maroon finish at 1:46 scale. Released as Dinky 182 in 1958 withdrawn as Dinky 182 in 1966.
