The Budgie Motorway Express Coach. There were several variations of this model with different base plates. The Midland Red bus had a black base was the first issue, by Budgie, number 296. The second version had a silver base and no number. There was a rare US issue of a blue and cream roof coach, with no number or name on the base was issued in 1965. It had "Blue Line Sightseeing" transfers on the sides and "Washington, DC." The original price was 4/6 . It was available in red & black, blue and white finish at OO scale. Released as Budgie 296 in 1963 withdrawn as Budgie 296 in 1966.
