Details of Dinky 626 Military Ambulance
The Dinky Military Ambulance. Released Sep 1956 opening rear doors with windows from 1961 till 1965. The ambulance was based on a Ford chassis with a Rootes Group cab.It was a 3 ton 4 wheel drive vehicle that could take 4 strechers. Shown on the February 1961 Dinky price list for 7/-. The original price was 6/11 . It was available in green finish at 1:50 scale. Released as Dinky 626 in 1956 withdrawn as Dinky 626 in 1965.
